Short project description: 

1. To evaluate modernization opportunities for Lithuanian railways traffic management centre (related telecommunications, signalling and power supply systems);
2. To evaluate alternative technical solutions, including adjustment of traffic management centre premises or traffic management centre relocation to other or newly built premises, transition to the European Union interoperability standards for railway signalling (ETCS);
3. To project work stages by preparing Lithuanian railways traffic management centre (telecommunication, signalling and power supply systems) creation / modernization implementation (procurement) plan;
4. To prepare an application to the Cohesion Fund and the tender documents, with a particular focus on the priorities and specific requirements preparation to ensure the reliability of management, physical and electronic safety, improvement of specialists’ work and rest conditions, and structure and premises adaption to modern and prospective development.
